BOKO HARAM: FG TO RECALL PEACE KEEPING TROOPS ABROAD.

The coordinator of the National Information Centre (NIC), Mr Mike Omeri, said yesterday that Nigerian troops on peacekeeping missions abroad may be recalled to the country to enhance the operational capabilities of the Nigerian military in the troubled North East
.
Mr Omeri made this statement while addressing  journalist in Abuja. In his words

“It is not as if our men have depleted so badly that we are looking to recall a few that are in operation outside but what we are suggesting is a troop surge and it is a position that is being canvassed to reinforce capacity to fight Boko Haram and insecurity there.
“Whatever Nigeria needs to do to defend her territory and citizens it will do; that is not to say that we don’t have enough soldiers or people have withdrawn; you can see the effort that other people are making there and Nigeria is still part of ECOWAS community, African Union community, United Nations community”.

You can't be sending troops on peace keeping mission in foreign countries when your own country is burning. Nigeria stands a better chance of defeating Boko Haram if these troops return and are deployed to the North
Should FG withdraw Nigerian soldiers involved in peace keeping missions abroad? What do you think?
