Akure Monarch Forbids Eze-Ndigbo from Wearing Crown..

The Deji of Akureland in Ondo State, Oba Aladetoyinbo Aladelusi yesterday listed conditions for truce with the estranged Eze Ndigbo of Akure, Gregory Iloehike. 
 Ileohike was said to have disrespected the Oba, an allegation he denied and pleaded with the governor to help resolve the over one-week crisis.

Supporters of the Radio Biafra boss, under the umbrella of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, resident in Rivers, Delta, and Anambra states  have taken to the streets demanding the unconditional release of their leader and presenter, Mr. Nnamdi Kanu.
Mr. Kanu was arrested, weekend, in Lagos, and transferred to Abuja, wheree he was arraigned.
Many of the protesters were, however, arrested by the police.

25 year old woman, Chiwendu Nwobodo who was bathed with hot groundnut oil by a neighbour in Surulere Lagos over puff puff supposedly worth N900 has lost her two-month-old pregnancy.

According to PUNCH Metro, Her husband, Chigozie, said that his wife had also developed complications as her left ear was now oozing pus and that Iya Daniel has been re-arrested and detained at the State Department of Criminal Investigation, Yaba.

Rivers State Gov Wike and Okorocha condemn MASSOB protest

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, condemned the protest embarked upon by members of MASSOB which crippled activities in Port Hardcourt on Tuesday saying that his administration will not tolerate a repeat of the protest by members of any group within the state.

The protesters had marched through Ikoku, Ikwerre and some major roads in the state capital causing disruption within the state.

Two teenage brothers were brutally beaten in church - one of them fatally - in an effort by their parents, sister and other members of the congregation to force them to confess their sins and seek forgiveness, police said on Wednesday.  Police Chief Michael Inserra said investigators are still looking into what the supposed sins were.
